Will Brown announces experienced Patroons coaching staff with local ties

Patroons general manager and head coach Will Brown announced his coaching staff today and it’s got plenty of local ties. Aside from special assistant Don Bassett who has more than 60 years of coaching experience, Brown will be joined by Brian Beaury, Julie McBride and Marc Rybczyk. Beaury was the head coach at the College of Saint Rose for more than 30 years before retiring in 2018. He led the Golden Knights to 14 NCAA Tournament appearances. Julie McBride is one of the greatest basketball players at both Catholic Central High School and Syracuse University and had a successful professional career overseas. Marc Rybczyk is a former assistant coach at Niagara and has more than 20 years of coaching experience.
