Science of sinking intrigues kids in Albany

February 19, 2018 07:21 PM

ALBANY - There was a STEM challenge Monday at the Albany Public Library's Pine Hills branch.

A group of young kids spent their President's Day learning about science. First, they built a boat out of tin foil, then filled it with pennies -- trying to see how many it would take to sink it. They ended up sinking them all and having lots of fun while doing it.

The project is just one of many the library has lined up for this February break.
