Amount of STEM children's books on the rise

The trend in sales of children's books is moving away from fiction and fairy tales to non-fiction.

A recent study in "Publishers Weekly" showed a double-digit increase in sales of children's non-fiction.

The most popular books were science and so called "maker" books. They combine creativity, history and experimentation.

DK Publishing caught on to the trend and is out with books on everything from the big bang theory to robots.
