Bra shop with a technological twist opens in Troy

TROY - Finding the bra that fits perfectly is now -- quite literally -- down to a science.  ZeBra Bras held a ribbon cutting in downtown Troy on Thursday.

The new store on 4th Street uses a 3D printer to design a bra specific to a woman's body and her exact measurements.

Prices begin at $75 and because of the in-house technology, turn-around is relatively quick.

ZeBra Bras is owned by an RPI graduate who worked for the past three years as a nuclear engineer at Knolls Atomic Laboratory.

In Friday’s “STEM 13” report, Abigail Bleck explains why the scientist made the career switch.
