Saratoga Race Course closes out record season

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Monday was the last day of racing at Saratoga Race Course for 2019.

NYRA says despite cancelling an entire Saturday due to heat and seven races on a Thursday during the meet due to rain, they still broke last year's record of all sources handled. That means the amount of money bet on races at the Saratoga Race Course this year was higher than last year.

They also say they exceeded the million mark in attendance for the fifth year in a row.

Hear from NYRA about their thoughts on this year's handle by watching the video of Emily DeVito's story.
