A.G.’s office collects 172 guns during buyback event

Attorney General Letitia James announced yesterday that 172 guns and over 50 pounds of ammunition were turned in to law enforcement at a gun buyback event hosted by the Attorney General’s office.

The buyback was held in the town of Camillus in Onondaga County and was co-hosted by the Camillus police department.

The Attorney General’s office exchanges compensation on site for any working or non-working unloaded firearm and ammunition with no questions asked.
