Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, Sheehan, who is fully vaccinated and boosted, says she started to have mild, allergy-like symptoms Sunday night and tested positive Monday morning.
She will work in isolation for at least the next five days and carry out her mayor duties virtually.
