Albany police block off section of Central Ave to execute search warrant
Police were in full gear carrying long guns into a home they were searching.
The search warrant was for a home on Central Ave in between Lexington Ave and Henry Johnson Boulevard.
Police say the warrant was for a criminal investigation, but no other details were released.
Officers had the road blocked for roughly two hours.
Police were seen in head to toe gear including long guns as they entered the home with investigators.
Traffic was redirected as APD was on scene.
