Albany pastor keeping his ice cream shop open, despite the cold weather

One Albany pastor remains committed to his mission of engaging people on Albany’s South End.

We took you inside the basement of Bishop Avery’s Comithier’s church earlier this year, where he opened an ice cream shop.

Despite the winter months not too far away, he says he has no plans of shutting down.

Comithier knows that some ice cream shops typically close when it gets cold. He wants to keep his shop open, so people locally have a safe and affordable place to go.

His shop is located on Krank Street, right in the neighborhood, making it accessible for people of all ages.
