Ballston fatal crash under investigation

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal crash in the town of Ballston.

It appears a vehicle was traveling north on Church Avenue just before 9 p.m. Saturday, when it hit a person, the sheriff said.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity is not being released until next of kin is notified.
