Colonie Center kicks off holidays by giving away money

With the Christmas countdown officially underway, Colonie Center decided to help people with their holiday shopping by giving away free money.

The mall handed out shopping vouchers to the first 200 people in line on Black Friday.
These coupons were worth anywhere from $25 to $500.

Shoppers could then use those coupons to go shopping and get the chance to win some prizes from a giant Black Friday advent calendar in the mall.

Thanks to the American Cancer Society, the center will offer complimentary gift wrapping from December 6 through December 24.
