A Colonie man who pleaded guilty to shooting and killing a man from Troy a few years ago was scheduled to learn his fate on Tuesday afternoon.

Jarrell Howard, 20, faces 29 to 40 years to life in state prison.

The sentencing was already delayed at least once.

Howard admitted back in December that he fatally shot Nyjawaun Thomas of Troy back in June 2020. He also pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted second-degree murder for separate gun-related charges
