Dalton fire chief fired after no confidence vote

Dalton Fire Chief James Peltier has been fired.
A vote was taken among the firefighters, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
The majority of the 29 firefighters who voted indicated they did not have confidence in Peltier.
That vote followed a unanimous vote for termination by members of the fire district, last Wednesday.
