A fire at the former Brodie Ski Area in Berkshire County on Wednesday morning is being called suspicious.

The fire, which broke out at 7 a.m., destroyed a two-story building at the site in New Ashford, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle report.

No one was hurt, and the flames were knocked down in about an hour.

The building was a storage area, the New Ashford fire chief told the Eagle.

The former ski area closed in 2007, and is currently for sale.
