A former Saratoga Springs Public Safety Commissioner has found herself on the wrong side of the law. Robin Dalton, who was public safety commissioner from 2020 to 2022, was arrested late Saturday night in Wilton.

A former Saratoga Springs Public Safety Commissioner has found herself on the wrong side of the law.

Robin Dalton, who was public safety commissioner from 2020 to 2022, was arrested late Saturday night in Wilton.

Police sources told NewsChannel that Dalton, who gave police her maiden name, Robin Lakian, stole merchandise from Walmart around 10:40 Saturday night.

She was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, and is scheduled to appear in Wilton Town Court next month.
