Former Cuomo advisor killed in bizarre Lyft accident

A former advisor to ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo died early Sunday morning in Maryland when he was forced out of a Lyft in the middle of highway traffic.

Sid Wolf, 43, and five of his friends were riding back to a home in a Lyft rideshare when they got into a dispute with the driver. That’s when the driver suddenly stopped in the left lane on the highway and ordered all six passengers out of the car.

Another car was forced into the right lane in order to avoid rear-ending the Lyft and hit Wolf who had just gotten out on the right rear passenger side.

State police said the driver who hit Wolf pulled over and waited for police while the Lyft driver fled.

The five other passengers were uninjured.
