A man from Gloversville is accused of leading police on a multi-city chase.

It all began just before 1:30 in the morning last Friday in the village of Fonda.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department says Steven Horton tried to rear-end a sheriff’s patrol vehicle.

When police tried to stop him, they say he drove off across Memorial Park and tried to hit another car.

Police say Horton traveled through the city of Johnstown and back to the village of Fonda, where Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies put stop sticks and deflated Horton’s tires. He was then taken into custody. Police say he was driving while impaired by drugs.

Horton was given a ticket and is due back in court at a later date.
