Local ski resorts benefit from recent snowfall
The recent winter storm brought some snow to local ski resorts after weeks of mild weekends.
It’s clear that many skiers and snowboarders enjoyed the snowy weather. Staff at Maple Ski Ridge in Rotterdam said the recent snowfall was helpful. People of all ages skiing and snowboarding there after eight to 12 inches of fresh snow fell.
Even though they have the capability of making snow, natural snow is still needed for some of their trails.
Maple Ski Ridge is having a beach party on March 11. So who knows what the weather will be like next weekend.
