Man admits to stabbing Albany roommate six times

A Bronx man is facing up to 25 years in prison after admitting to stabbing his Albany roommate six times.
Jonisaac Nazario, 20, pleaded guilty in Albany County Court on Monday to second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault.
Nazario stabbed the 31-year-old Albany man after having an argument on May 16, 2024, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Officers responded to Clinton Street that day and found the man with stab wounds to his back and a punctured lung.
Nazario left the scene. Police found him in Washington Park on July 4 and arrested him.
Nazario is scheduled to be sentenced on April 21.
