New details on man killed in deadly Northern Blvd. crash
We have new details on the crash that killed a person walking near Northern Boulevard on Thursday evening.
The victim is a 58-year-old man from Albany who died at the scene of the crash. Albany police say the pedestrian was crossing eastbound when he was hit.
An SUV and a pickup truck hit the man while crossing. Both cars were traveling southbound at the time.
Police spokesman Steve Smith told us that there are no tickets or no charges at this time. Additionally, both drivers stopped at the time of the incident and are cooperating with the investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released yet, and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.
