Police give details on man accused of threatening Glens Falls protestors with chainsaw
Glens Falls Police have provided more information about a man arrested for allegedly revving a chainsaw at an anti-Trump rally over the weekend.
Thomas J. Howard, 62, is accused of waving a chainsaw in the area during a protest held Saturday in the area of Bay Street and Glen Street.
Police confirmed that the chainsaw did have a chain attached to the blade of the saw.
Howard was surrounded by four Glens Falls police officers and immediately arrested.
He is charged with misdemeanor second-degree menacing and a violation of disorderly conduct. Howard was released on an appearance ticket and due in Glens Falls City Court at a later date.
