Police have identified the person found dead in a smoldering clothing donation bin in Glens Falls on Thursday.

Michelle McFarren, 43, died of fire related injuries, investigators said.

The donation bin was found on fire around 2:20 a.m. at 70 Hudson Avenue, the parking lot of a pizza restaurant.

The body was found after the fire was put out.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, investigators said.

The donation bin was taken away as evidence.
