Police investigate gun found inside Rivers Casino
Schenectady police say that an abandoned gun was found inside River’s Casino early Friday morning.

Police say that when casino staff were cleaning up at around 2 a.m. Friday morning they discovered the firearm on the floor and called security staff over to investigate.
We’re told that when security picked up the gun it discharged into the ground. No one was hurt.
Schenectady police tell us they were called to the scene where they took the gun and bullet for further analysis.
Police say that the gun was not the property of any security guards, and it is unknown how it got into the casino.
As of right now there are no suspects.
