Shots were fired near Albany Memorial Hospital on Friday morning.

It happened at around 8:15 a.m. near Shaker Road and Northern Boulevard.

The hospital was not the target of the gunfire, police said.

There are no reported injuries, according to police.

They are investigating what happened.
