The Rensselaer Police Department received a call on Sunday at about 7:42 p.m. of a teen that walked into Albany Medical Center with an apparent gunshot wound.
The preliminary investigation suggests the incident occurred at Kinwood Apartments in Rensselaer.
Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
