New Yorkers gathered in front of the state Capitol Tuesday to stand with the migrant community. The rally comes as anti-ICE protests have erupted across the nation for the past few days.

The group is calling on New York state lawmakers to do more to protect the community against ICE.

Protesters are calling for New York lawmakers to pass the New York for All Act. The bill would prohibit the disclosure of someone’s immigration status.

Advocates said they won’t stop fighting until everyone is protected.

The bill remains in committee in the state Senate.
