Rensselaer rail station turns 20

The new Rensselaer train station is twenty years old.

It was 2002 when CDTA opened the new station.
They spent $53 million to build it, doubling the size of the old one.

The station is owned and operated by CDTA and Amtrak runs the trains.

It is the ninth busiest train station in the country, serving more than 800,000 people each year.
