Rensselaerville man charged in 2021 US Capitol attack

Another Capital Region resident has been arrested in connection with the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Court documents from the U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. accuse Troy Weeks of Rensselaerville of stealing an officer’s can of pepper spray, and grabbing the inside of a police riot shield.
Weeks was arrested last week, according to court papers. He will appear in front of a judge on Tuesday.
