Seven new K-9 cops got their badges on Friday.

The dogs and their handlers represent the Montgomery County Sheriff, State Park Police, Mechanicville Police and the Saratoga County Sheriff. Most of them are German shepherds

This was the culmination of months of training for these officers and deputies and their four-legged partners.

All of the K-9s are named after former members of their departments.

They are all eager to work, and when work is over, to play.
