Shooting in Amsterdam leaves 1 with serious injuries
Amsterdam Police said the shooting happened on Thursday afternoon and they have since arrested 3 teens.
Amsterdam Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon on Kline Street.
Police said the shooting happened at about 1:10 p.m. where a man was shoot twice in the abdomen area.
That man was taken to Albany Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Amsterdam Police have since arrested 3 juveniles between the ages of 16 to 17 years of age in connection with the shooting. Police have not yet announced their charges yet.
Authorities are in the early stages of the investigation and believe the shooting might have been targeted, telling NewsChannel 13 it was not random.
Police have not yet announced the identity of the man that was shot.
Police said that there is no danger to the public.
