A tradition in Troy takes place the day before voters head to the polls.

They’re getting ready for the big spaghetti dinner at the Italian Community Center.

Every year for more than 60 years, on the day before Election Day, there’s a dinner that serves up politics with pasta.

People from different parties bond over meatballs, and meet candidates. They plan to feed 400 to 500 people.

It’s a dine-in or takeout dinner this year from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

They’re raising money for the soup kitchen, street warriors, and a La Salle Scholarship.
