Traffic stop leads to guilty verdict of falsifying records and criminal impersonation

Two people were found guilty of falsifying records and criminal impersonation in Columbia County.

Documents say 37-year-old Junior Ferreira was carrying counterfeit 100 dollar bills when police pulled him over for a traffic stop in the town of Ghent.
When questioned, Ferreira and the man with him – 35-year-old Edgard Duche gave fake names to the officers.
They will be sentenced on October 31st.
