Police say they are investigating a shooting that happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday inside Grill Mediterranean Cuisine at 908 River Street in Troy.

Officers say they located an adult man shot in the leg quickly upon arrival, and performed emergency medical aid to the victim.

It was determined that the suspect had fled immediately following the incident, said police.

Troy Police say a second victim had a minor scratch to their ear, which was sustained during the incident.

Officials say preliminary investigation has determined that a dispute occurred between the individuals inside the business, and it had escalated, resulting in the shooting.

They add that officials from the Troy Code Enforcement responded to the scene and shut down the business.
