Troy Police remain tight-lipped about death in their custody
Troy Police remained quiet Monday, after they said a man died in their custody on Friday.
Police got a call for someone trespassing in Lansingburgh on Friday.
When they got there, they found a man leaving through a first floor window, they said.
Police handcuffed him and put him on the ground on his side. That’s when he began to show signs of medical distress, police said.
Police administered Narcan, before taking him to the hospital, where he later died.
NewsChannel 13 reached out to police several times over the weekend. They said told further updates will come in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office.
