U.S. Attorney: Saratoga County man used child, 4, to create child pornography

A Saratoga County man is accused of using a 4-year-old child to produce child pornography.

Eric Mosier, 37, of Galway, had the child engage in sexually explicit conduct for the creation of child sexual abuse material, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. It happened in March and May of this year, according to prosecutors.

Mosier was charged with sexual exploitation of a child. He appeared in U.S. District Court on Wednesday and was ordered held pending trial.

If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
