The pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Pownal has been identified as a 37-year-old woman.

The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Route 7 and Vermont Route 346 in Pownal. Adrienne Formel, 37, has life-threatening injuries and is being treated at an Albany hospital.

Police have found the vehicles that were in the area of the crash after posting pictures on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing.
