There was a very special delivery thanks to the help of a local emergency medical service.

Mohawk Ambulance Service said Sara Sanders singlehandedly delivered a baby boy in the back of an ambulance on the way to Bellevue Hospital late Wednesday night.

Sara’s incredible skill, bravery, and quick thinking made all the difference, they said.

Both the mother and the baby are doing well, Mohawk said.
