A new study tracking more than 47,000 women over three decades suggests that coffee may help lead to a longer and healthier life.

Doctors at the University of Toronto found women who drank one to three cups per day in middle age were more likely to experience “healthy aging.”

The women were surveyed and followed for 30 years to understand their rates of death and disease.

The study found moderate caffeinated coffee consumption during midlife was associated with a higher likelihood of healthy aging 30 years later.
