Brewing company to open new Albany taproom

Fidens Brewing Company is planning to open a taproom in Albany’s warehouse district.

It first opened in a Colonie industrial park back in 2018.

As the brewing company continues to expand – it’s opening a brew pub.

The operation will take over a restaurant space on Broadway – next to Wolff’s Biergarten.

Fidens Brewpub will have two dozen draft beers – made mostly by the brewery – but will also feature some guest draft brews.

Fidens will continue to make beer at its original site – but its retail operation will move to the brewpub.

The new project expected to open in late spring or early summer.

There will also be a restaurant on the property – and the owners are looking for a chef who can develop a menu that complements the company’s beers.
