A popular Schenectady restaurant is closing after seven years in business.

Daley’s on Yates announced on Facebook that it will close after service next Sunday night.

The message reads: “After thoughtful consideration and reflection on our journey, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of our story.”

In the seven years since opening Daley’s on Yates, Daley Hospitality Group has added several businesses to their portfolio.

Customers can continue to visit Daley’s on Crooked Lake in Averill Park, and the company also owns Old Daley Catering.

The group also purchased The Snowman ice cream in Lansingburgh in 2022.

Daley’s on Yates is planning special closing events for customers.

The space is currently listed for sale at just over $1.6 million.
