A former nudist campground is undergoing a transformation into a glamping destination.

Huttopia Berkshires will open at 312 Kittle Road following an $8M investment in the property previously known as Berkshire Vista Resort campground.

It is the newest location for Huttopia, an international brand that also boasts a Lake George location.

Huttopia’s model started in Europe, relying on sending campers in its platform tents, cabins and tent sites out to nearby destinations rather than providing on-site entertainment.

The Hancock location features 45 seasonal wood and canvas tents and 11 year-round cabins.

Amenities include a Café Bistro, a swimming pool, communal fire pits, and access to hiking and mountain biking trails.

Reservations are available starting July 6.
