TROY - The Christopher Columbus statue at the ICC in Troy has been tampered with.
Troy Council President Carmella Mantello tweeted out a photo Monday of the statue with a sign around its neck that read “STOP CELEBRATING GENOCIDE – CENTROCOLOMBIO 518.”
Police say it’s currently being investigated as trespassing since the statue wasn't actually damaged.
No arrests have been made so far.
