The alleged killer of Ayshawn Davis has been indicted by a grand jury.

The Rensselaer County District Attorney's Office says Jahquay Brown was scheduled in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon.

However, when NewsChannel 13 arrived in Troy City Court, there was no hearing.

We learned that Brown's indictment will be handed up to the county court this week. His arraignment will follow that.
Brown is accused of killing 11-year-old Ayshawn Davis in a drive-by shooting.

Davis' funeral was Monday.
