Lightning strike destroys North Hoosick barn

NORTH HOOSICK - Fire investigators say a barn was destroyed by fire after a lightning strike during a thunderstorm.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on Cottrell Road in North Hoosick.

The Bennington Banner talked to the family who owns the barn. They report the family got cars out of the barn, but that a four-wheeler, a tractor, and some other equipment were destroyed.
