Protesters gather outside of Mayor Madden's home to protest Abelove acquittal

A group of protesters gathered outside Troy Mayor Patrick Madden's house Thursday night.

Protesters would not speak with NewsChannel 13 on camera, but NewsChannel 13 learned they were speaking out against the decision in the Abelove case.

Former Rensselaer County District Attorney Joel Ablelove was acquitted of all charges against him Thursday. The charges stemmed from accusations that Abelove manipulated an investigation in the police-involved shooting death of Edson Thevenin in 2016.
