Troy teen stable after 4th of July shooting

TROY - A 17-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot in Troy on Saturday. The shooting happened on 7th and Glen avenues.

The victim had surgery and is recovering.
Police are still searching for a suspect.


It was one of two shootings on July 4 that police are investigating in the Collar City. The other one happened at 8th and Rensselaer streets when someone shot at a vehicle. Police say no one was inside.

Officers believe the car may have been connected.
