Police arrested two Watervliet teens in connection with a shooting in Troy last Thursday.

Deputy Chief Dan DeWolf said the Troy police conducted two raids simultaneously in Watervliet, one on 3rd Avenue, one on 7th Avenue.

They were assisted by Cohoes police and the Colonie SWAT team.

On 3rd Avenue, police say 18-year-old Kamao Douglas was taken into custody.

The 17-year-old was arrested on 7th Avenue. His name is being withheld due to his age.

Both people have been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
