The City of Troy is offering a parking ticket amnesty program that goes in effect Saturday.

A one-time reduction on outstanding tickets will be available until September 15.

The city says people with outstanding parking tickets that qualify for the program will receive a letter in the mail with instructions regarding the payment options.

All payments for tickets that qualify must be made by mail or online.
