It’s no secret that coronavirus has impacted nearly every facet of our lives.

For nearly four decades, the Unity House in Troy has been providing all kinds of services to people in need in Rensselaer County.

This year because of the COVID crisis, donations are down and domestic violence cases are up.

There will be a block party Saturday night to raise awareness and money for a holiday children’s program starting at 5 p.m. at Nighthawk’s Restaurant.

For more details from the agency’s outreach program director, watch the video above.
