State Attorney General Letitia James was in New York City and Long Island on Monday, kicking off a statewide tour to deliver funds to fight the opioid epidemic.

The $1.5 billion comes from settlements the attorney general’s office negotiated with pharmaceutical companies.

All 62 counties in the state are expected to receive some of these funds.

James is scheduled to appear in Albany on Tuesday.
